The makers of Carry On Jatta 4 have released the much-anticipated first teaser, marking a significant moment for Punjabi cinema. Along with bringing back the franchise’s signature humour and ensemble cast, the teaser stands out for its heartfelt tribute to late comedy icon Jaswinder Bhalla.
The film features a stellar lineup including Gippy Grewal, Sargun Mehta, Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol, Shinda Grewal, Jasmine Bajwa, and Sweetaj Brar.
In a first-of-its-kind cinematic effort, the late actor has been recreated on screen using advanced VFX and CG technology. The process reportedly took over six months, with archival footage carefully sourced and enhanced to ensure authenticity and respect. This unique tribute allows audiences to witness Bhalla’s presence once again, celebrating his legacy in a deeply emotional and innovative way.
Speaking about the tribute, Gippy Grewal shared that Bhalla was not just a co-actor but the heart of the franchise, adding that the team aimed to honour his spirit rather than simply recreate him. The initiative has also been carried out with the consent and support of his family.
Blending nostalgia with cutting-edge technology, Carry On Jatta 4 promises to be both entertaining and emotionally resonant. The film is set to release in cinemas on June 26, 2026.
