September brings a fresh slate of Hindi films to the big screen, spanning crime, action, thriller, comedy and drama. From much-awaited franchise extensions to new stories featuring some of Bollywood’s familiar faces, here are the fresh releases to add to your September movie calendar.
Mirzapur: The Movie
The popular Mirzapur universe makes its theatrical transition with Mirzapur: The Movie, bringing back familiar faces and the crime-drama world that built a massive following through the series. The film is among September’s prominent Hindi releases.
Haiwaan
Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunite on screen in this psychological thriller, marking their return together after 18 years. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film brings crime, suspense and drama to September’s theatrical lineup.
Daayra
Starring Kareena Kapoor and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Daayra brings a crime-thriller narrative to theatres this month. The film is part of the second-half September release slate.
The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest
Sidharth Malhotra, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sara Ali Khan headline this upcoming Hindi release, scheduled for the final week of September. The film adds a different genre flavour to the month’s Bollywood lineup.
Jeevan Bheema Yojana
Arshad Warsi features in this thriller-comedy, which arrives alongside several other Hindi releases at the beginning of September. It adds a lighter, comic edge to the month’s theatrical mix.

The late-September schedule also features this fantasy/mythological-themed title, adding another large-scale option to the month’s Hindi-language movie calendar.
