When I started Hangover, one thing became clear people don’t buy a party dress just because they have somewhere to go. They buy it because of how they want to feel.

So many girls have told me, “I want the dress that everyone remembers,” or “I want to feel confident the second I walk in.” To me, that’s what party wear is all about today.

For a while, fashion was driven by trends a new colour, silhouette or aesthetic every season. But I think people are moving away from chasing trends and choosing pieces that truly reflect their personality.

At Hangover, we’ve never believed party wear should feel safe or ordinary. Celebrations are special, and your outfit should be too. That’s why I don’t think sparkle is ever going out of style. Instead, it’s evolving. It’s becoming more refined, more luxurious and more thoughtfully crafted. It’s not just about crystals it’s about how they come together to create something unforgettable.

I’ve also noticed that people are shopping more intentionally. They’re happy to invest in one beautifully made dress they can wear more than once. A great party outfit shouldn’t be worn once and forgotten it should be the one you reach for whenever you want to feel your best.

What I love about my generation is that we’re not afraid to stand out. We’re blending glamour with confidence and creating our own definition of luxury. We don’t want to look like everyone else we want to be remembered.

That’s why craftsmanship matters more than ever. Knowing the time and skill behind a hand-embellished dress makes you appreciate it differently. Luxury isn’t just about appearance; it’s about the story, the people behind it and how it makes you feel.

Trends, colours and silhouettes will always change. But the confidence that comes from feeling like the best version of yourself never will. And if party wear is heading anywhere in 2026, I hope it’s heading exactly there.
