The first look of Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal, touted as India’s first AI-powered theatrical film, was officially unveiled on Thursday, offering audiences an early glimpse into the ambitious mythological project inspired by the life and legacy of Lord Hanuman.
Released across social media platforms, the first-look video sets the scale and tone of the film, drawing from Indian mythology and the epic Ramayana. The visual teaser highlights the film’s grand narrative approach while signalling a technologically advanced storytelling format

The film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Rajesh Mapuskar, who described the project as both “thrilling and daunting,” citing the excitement of exploring generative AI to tell a timeless spiritual story rooted in strength, devotion, and purpose.
Produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment in association with Collective Media Network’s Historyverse, the film is being developed with the support of over 50 AI engineers from Galleri5, alongside cultural scholars and literary experts to ensure narrative authenticity.
Chiranjeevi Hanuman – The Eternal is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on Hanuman Jayanti, 2026.
