The makers of Vrusshabha unveiled the much-anticipated trailer at a spectacular launch event in Kochi on December 16, turning the evening into a never-ending festival for Lalettan fans. The electrifying on-ground celebration officially marked the beginning of the film’s promotional journey, building immense anticipation for what is poised to be one of the biggest Pan-Indian releases of Christmas 2025.

The grand event was graced by the film’s stellar cast, including Mohanlal, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Nayan Sarika, along with director Nanda Kishore. Producers Varun Mathur, Abishek S. Vyas, and Sanjay Dwivedi (Group CEO & CFO, Balaji Telefilms) were also present, making the evening a memorable celebration of cinema, scale, and star power.

With back-to-back successes, accolades, and global recognition, 2025 continues to be a landmark year for Mohanlal, reaffirming his unparalleled legacy in Indian cinema. The Vrusshabha trailer offers a powerful glimpse into an emotionally charged father–son saga unfolding across two timelines, exploring themes of love, destiny, and sacrifice.

At the heart of the film is Mohanlal’s striking dual portrayal. In the past, he appears as King Vijayendra Vrusshabha, while in the present day, he plays a successful businessman haunted by visions of a past life. His son, portrayed by Samarjit Lankesh, becomes entwined in these memories, battling fate and fear to protect his father. The trailer teases high-octane action, deep emotional resonance, and visually arresting sequences, with Ragini Dwivedi seen in a fierce, action-packed avatar alongside Nayan Sarika, Ajay, and Garuda Ram.

Sharing her thoughts, producer Ektaa R. Kapoor said,
Vrusshabha is more than just a film for us; it is a true big-screen experience and a significant milestone in our Pan-Indian journey. Mohanlal sir’s legacy, sincerity, and unmatched screen presence bring immense value to this story. Made with honesty, emotion, and scale, this film will deeply connect with audiences worldwide, especially Lalettan fans.”

Director Nanda Kishore added, “This is a story that connects hearts across time—a powerful saga of a father and son bound by love and destiny. Working with Mohanlal sir has been a dream. His humility, discipline, and fearlessness elevate every scene. I am proud of the entire team that has brought this story to life with so much passion.”

Vrusshabha stars Mohanlal, Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika, Ajay, Neha Saxena, Garuda Ram, Vinay Verma, Ali, Ayyappa P. Sharma, and Kishore. The film features music by Sam C.S., sound design by Resul Pookutty, dialogues by SRK, Janardhan Maharshi, and Karthik, and action choreography by Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, Ganesh Kumar, and Nikhil.

Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S. Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta, and co-produced by Vimal Lahoti.
