The team behind Raanjhanaa has returned with another intense romance, unveiling the trailer of Tere Ishk Mein, featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Released on Friday, the trailer quickly took over social media, drawing massive attention for its gripping narrative, the lead pair’s fiery chemistry, and AR Rahman’s powerful background score.
Shared by the makers on Instagram with the caption, “Pesh-E-Khidmat hai… #TereIshkMein”, the trailer introduces viewers to Aanand L Rai’s ambitious new cinematic universe, set to arrive in theatres on November 28, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Kriti Sanon steps into the role of Mukti, a spirited young woman who finds herself drawn to Dhanush’s Shankar a rebellious, unpredictable, and emotionally charged man. Their connection, however, is torn apart before it can fully bloom. The heartbreak pushes Shankar into a darker transformation, with the trailer hinting at his vow to set “all of Delhi” ablaze in his anguish.
The film was first teased on the 10th anniversary of Raanjhanaa, where Rai announced the project along with a short clip featuring a riveting monologue from Dhanush. His line Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?” signals a far more volatile avatar than his earlier character, Kundan.
