Celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra is stepping deeper into the world of cinema, announcing his next romantic drama Gustaakh Ishq, under his banner Stage 5 Production. Marking his debut as a film producer, the movie stars Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Naseeruddin Shah, and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles.
The film, previously titled Ul-Jalool Ishq, is now set to hit theatres in November 2025, with the first official glimpse releasing on August 25.
Taking to Instagram, Malhotra wrote: “Since childhood, I’ve lived with a deep Ishq for cinema… That love has shaped who I am, and today, it gives me the greatest joy to share a dream come true.” 
He also teased a poetic and emotionally rich narrative, sharing a poster featuring Vijay and Fatima in an intimate embrace, set in soft pastel tones hinting at a tender love story that blends passion with poignancy.
Gustaakh Ishq marks the third project from Malhotra’s production house, following Train From Chhapraula and Bun Tikki, whose release dates are still awaited.
With a star-studded cast and a seasoned storyteller stepping behind the scenes, Gustaakh Ishq promises to be one of the most anticipated romantic dramas of the year.
