After a year-long hiatus, Grammy-nominated devotional artist Krishna Das is set to return to India for a three-city tour that promises a soul-stirring blend of kirtan, spirituality, and collective chanting. Best known for fusing traditional Hindu devotional music with Western harmonics, the “Chant Master of American Yoga” will perform in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru this fall.
The India tour, organised by Team Innovation Cultural in collaboration with 7E Entertainment and Unified Music Group, will kick off on October 31 at Brahmakamal Hall, Yashobhoomi Exhibition & Trade Centre, New Delhi. The next stop is Dome SVP Stadium, Mumbai, on November 2, with the final performance scheduled for November 5 at Phoenix Marketcity’s Backyard Area, Bengaluru.
Each live session—spanning around 2.5 hours—will spotlight Krishna Das’s signature call-and-response chanting of sacred mantras and divine names, designed to create a meditative and transcendent experience. According to organisers, spoken commentary will be minimal to allow for deeper immersion into the chant.
Known for his 2012 Grammy-nominated album Live Ananda, Krishna Das remains a major figure in the global spiritual music scene, with admirers including celebrities like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
