At the heart of India Couture Week 2025, designer duo Shantnu & Nikhil unveiled their latest collection, Metropolis, a powerful reimagining of contemporary masculinity that marries structured silhouettes with subversive soul. Showcased on Sunday evening in Delhi, the collection was more than just couture—it was a statement.

Known for blending heritage with modernity, Shantnu & Nikhil pushed their creative boundaries with Metropolis, drawing deeply from military influences, desert traditions, and the cinematic opulence of India’s royal lineage.

“We’re not just dressing men anymore—we’re allowing them to declare who they are,” the designers told Elle India. “Metropolis dismantles predictability and writes a new masculine code. It’s about radical restraint, where rebellion simmers quietly beneath sharp tailoring and poetic forms.”

The collection featured sharply cut overcoat sherwanis, cropped bandhgalas, fluidly draped kurtas, and layered ensembles that channel both precision and power. With a color palette ranging from noir and pearl to sand gold and vintage pastels, each piece exuded timeless sophistication with an edge.

The star-studded front row added to the buzz, with Bollywood actors like Rajkummar Rao, Randeep Hooda, Arjun Rampal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Manushi Chhillar, Jim Sarbh, Rahul Khanna, and Zahan Kapoor lending their presence to the evening’s glamour.
