Shahid Kapoor is back in his intense avatar, and this time, he’s darker, deadlier, and deeply in love. The trailer of Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film O Romeo was unveiled at a high-profile event in Mumbai on Wednesday, instantly grabbing attention for its raw energy and stylised storytelling.
The romantic action drama sees Shahid Kapoor portraying Ustara, a feared figure in Mumbai’s criminal underbelly whose obsession with love fuels chaos and violence. Opposite him, Triptii Dimri plays a strong-willed woman driven by vengeance, adding emotional depth and grit to the narrative.
Set against the backdrop of the city’s underworld, the trailer offers glimpses of betrayal, bloodshed, and passion. Avinash Tiwary steps into the role of the principal antagonist, while Nana Patekar commands the screen as a relentless cop determined to bring Ustara to justice. Adding glamour to the gritty tale, Disha Patani makes a brief yet impactful appearance in a high-energy dance number.
Known for his distinctive blend of music and storytelling, Vishal Bhardwaj once again delivers a trailer packed with hard-hitting dialogues, atmospheric visuals, and stylised action. O Romeo marks his fourth collaboration with Shahid Kapoor, following acclaimed films like Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon.
