French hitmaker and global EDM powerhouse DJ Snake is set to ignite stages across India once again, returning for his highly anticipated third Sunburn Arena tour. This six-city musical journey, presented by Sunburn, will bring his signature energy and chart-topping hits to fans in Kolkata (Sept 26), Hyderabad (Sept 27), Bengaluru (Sept 28), Pune (Oct 3), Mumbai (Oct 4), and Delhi-NCR (Oct 5).
Known for genre-defining tracks like Loco Contigo, Magenta Riddim, Taki Taki, and Turn Down for What, DJ Snake (born William Grigahcine) has become a household name in the global music circuit. His connection with India continues to deepen with every tour. Reflecting on his return, he shared:
“The passion and the love in India—it all hits different. I still remember the energy during my last visit… it was pure madness! Every time I come back, that connection feels so deep. See you soon, India!”
The timing of this tour couldn’t be better. Snake is gearing up to drop his brand-new album Nomad this September, just before he hits the Indian leg of his global tour. Expectations are high, especially after his historic show this May at Stade de France, where he sold over 100,000 tickets in minutes and followed it up with a legendary afterparty at Paris’ Accor Arena.
His electrifying sets are known for blending trap, hip-hop, pop, Latin beats, and even a dose of desi flavour—making him a true crowd-puller on Indian soil. His previous visits have witnessed massive turnouts, and this year’s tour promises nothing less.
Karan Singh, CEO of Sunburn, expressed his excitement about hosting the artist once again: “DJ Snake’s return for his third Sunburn Arena tour is a testament to the incredible bond he’s built with Indian fans. It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with him, and this year’s tour is set to be something truly special. It reflects how far India has come in being a global EDM hotspot.”
From producing early tracks for stars like Lady Gaga (Applause) and Pitbull (Shut It Down), to achieving global superstardom with his breakout single Turn Down for What, DJ Snake’s rise has been unstoppable. That track alone earned him Grammy and Billboard accolades, with multi-platinum sales and a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
His debut album Encore (featuring Let Me Love You) climbed to No. 8 on the Billboard 200, while Carte Blanche, his sophomore effort, included bangers like Taki Taki and further solidified his place among EDM royalty. He’s also shared stages with the likes of Skrillex and Dillon Francis on the Mothership Tour, and was ranked No. 9 on Billboard’s Dance 100 in 2018.
With the upcoming Nomad era about to unfold, Indian fans are in for a high-octane, emotionally charged musical ride this September and October.
