An opulent fusion of heritage, craftsmanship, and couture glimmers in the heart of Knightsbridge.
London is set to witness a glittering cultural moment as Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee unveils an exclusive high jewellery collection at Harrods, from July 21 to 27, housed in the iconic store’s private Penthouse Suite.
Rooted in the rich craft traditions of North Calcutta, the showcase features two signature collections: Bengal Royale and Bengal Byzantine Broadway. While Bengal Royale draws on the artistic legacy of the 1920s—melding European and Mughal design with intricate Bengali filigree—Bengal Byzantine Broadway celebrates gilded grandeur, Art Deco drama, and tropical whimsy through the lens of Bengal’s master goldsmiths.
The collection represents a seamless dialogue between old-world Indian craftsmanship and modern Western elegance, creating pieces that are theatrical yet timeless. This Harrods residency not only marks Sabyasachi’s expansion into global haute jewellery but also places Indian heritage firmly on the world’s luxury map.
