Huma Qureshi Joins the Cast in a Dark New Role…
The wait is almost over! ‘Delhi Crime’ Season 3 is set to hit Netflix on November 13, with Shefali Shah reprising her iconic role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, aka “Madam Sir.” Directed by Tanuj Chopra, the new season plunges into the grim world of human trafficking, bringing back the show’s gripping realism and emotional depth.
Joining Shefali are familiar faces Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Anuraag Arora, while Huma Qureshi makes her franchise debut in a chilling, antagonistic role. She plays Meena, a complex character shaped by trauma and power. “She’s both victim and perpetrator,” Huma shared, calling the experience “unsettling yet powerful.”
Shefali, reflecting on her return, said, “Vartika is fighting an enemy that hides in plain sight. Human trafficking is a societal failure—but Vartika doesn’t look away.”
The new season also features Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji, and Anshumaan Pushkar, promising a taut, hard-hitting narrative that continues to challenge viewers with its stark honesty.
