The much-awaited trailer of Perfect Family is finally out, bringing with it a hearty mix of humour, emotion and everyday chaos. The upcoming Punjabi dramedy marks Pankaj Tripathi’s first venture as a producer and stars Neha Dhupia and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles.
Set inside a lively Punjabi household, the trailer offers a warm yet quirky glimpse into a family that’s anything but perfect yet wonderfully relatable. Alongside Dhupia and Devaiah, the series also features Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa and Girija Oak Godbole, adding further charm to the ensemble.
Created by Palak Bhambri and directed by Sachin Pathak, Perfect Family is scheduled to premiere on November 27 on JAR Series’ official YouTube channel.
Sharing his excitement, Gulshan Devaiah said the show tackles themes rarely explored in Indian homes. “Perfect Family is the kind of story that feels both entertaining and necessary… As Indians, we hardly ever talk openly about mental health, especially within the family. This show approaches that discomfort with a lot of heart and humour,” he shared, reflecting on his role of a man balancing therapy sessions and family expectations.
Neha Dhupia echoed the sentiment, adding that the script instantly resonated with her. “Families can be messy, emotional, dramatic and that’s exactly what makes them beautiful. What I loved most is how the show talks about therapy without making it heavy,” she said, calling the experience of working with the cast an “absolute joy.”
With its heartfelt storytelling, strong cast and refreshing approach to mental health conversations, Perfect Family is gearing up to deliver laughter, warmth and a slice of everyday reality wrapped in classic Punjabi flavour.
