Marking the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu launched the much-anticipated teaser of World of Nagabandham, setting the stage for an epic mythological action drama slated for a Summer 2026 release.
The dialogue-free teaser offers a visually immersive experience, drawing viewers into a mystical universe steeped in ancient temple lore and sacred traditions. It opens with breathtaking visuals of the Himalayas before moving into shadowy temple corridors, creating an atmosphere heavy with devotion and intrigue. Set against the backdrop of the 1750s, the film promises a rich blend of mythology and historical action, mounted on a lavish scale with striking production design and high-end visual effects.
One of the teaser’s standout moments is the arresting image of a majestic cobra guarding a hidden treasure a powerful reference to the sacred Nagabandham ritual that anchors the story. Sweeping battle sequences hint at an intense, action-packed narrative, designed to appeal to audiences across the country.
Actor Virat Karrna appears in multiple fierce avatars, culminating in a dramatic transformation inspired by Lord Shiva. The ensemble cast also features Nabha Natesh, Ishwarya Menon, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles.
Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film is being positioned as a pan-India spectacle. International stunt choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee has been brought on board to craft the film’s large-scale combat sequences, raising expectations for high-octane action.
Backed by producers Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Annapureddy under Abhishek Pictures and NIK Studios, and presented by Lakshmi Ira and Devansh Nama, World of Nagabandham is set to release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam in Summer 2026.
