After a glittering start to its 25th anniversary celebrations earlier this year in Mumbai, Lakmē Fashion Week in collaboration with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to the capital. The Delhi edition of the prestigious fashion event is officially scheduled to take place from October 8 to 12, 2025, at The Grand, Vasant Kunj.
The upcoming showcase, powered by Lakmē, Reliance Brands Ltd., and FDCI, promises to spotlight the next wave of Indian fashion with a renewed emphasis on sustainability, inclusivity, and forward-thinking design. As part of the ongoing anniversary celebrations, the Delhi edition is expected to highlight not just the legacy of the platform, but also its evolution into a global stage for Indian creativity.
Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President of Lakmē India, emphasized the pivotal role Lakmē Fashion Week continues to play in shaping India’s fashion and beauty landscape. “For over 25 years, Lakmē Fashion Week has been at the forefront of innovation, storytelling, and cultural expression in Indian fashion. As we prepare for the next chapter, we’re building on that foundation with bold new ideas and a deeper purpose,” she stated.
Khaitan further noted that each season of Lakmē Fashion Week serves as a launchpad for emerging designers and a benchmark for the industry. “With every edition, we’re not just curating fashion—we’re redefining its future in a global context.”
The Delhi edition is set to bring together top designers, industry leaders, and fashion enthusiasts, all united by a shared vision for a more dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable fashion future.
