Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has just taken a new leap this time beyond the world of entertainment. The popular TV personality, along with his wife Ginni Chatrath, has opened a cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Named Kaps Cafe, the new venture had its soft launch over the weekend and is already making waves both locally and online.
Early glimpses shared by the official Instagram page of the cafe show a full house and long queues of eager visitors. In a story update, the team thanked guests for the overwhelming response, saying, “We’re so grateful for the amazing turnout… Our cafe is currently very busy with a big line-up. We appreciate your support during our soft launch.”
The cafe’s interiors have quickly become a talking point. Decked in shades of pink and white, featuring elegant chandeliers, floral decor, and pastel-toned furniture, The Kaps Cafe offers a chic and cosy setting that’s perfect for Instagram.
As for the menu, it promises more than just good coffee. From specialty brews to decadent desserts like lemon pistachio cake, fudgy brownies, and fresh croissants, the offerings aim to satisfy both sweet cravings and caffeine fixes.
While managing this new hospitality venture, Kapil isn’t stepping away from the screen. He continues to entertain audiences with The Kapil Sharma Show and is also gearing up for his next film project. The sequel to his hit movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is in the works.
