There are some places you visit for a break, and then there are places that make you forget the chaos of everyday life entirely. Nestled amidst lush greenery, flowing rivers, mango orchards, and serene landscapes, Stone Water by Zuper delivers exactly that kind of escape, one that feels immersive, luxurious, and unexpectedly soulful.

Just a comfortable drive away from Mumbai, the resort blends Bali-inspired aesthetics with warm Indian hospitality, creating a staycation destination that appeals equally to couples craving romance, families looking for quality time, friend groups planning celebrations, and corporates seeking experiential retreats.

Our stay at the Silver Spring Pool Access Rooms instantly set the tone for the experience. Imagine opening your room window and stepping directly into a connected swimming pool shared across the room segment peaceful, aesthetic, and incredibly relaxing. For those wanting more privacy, the Cascade Pool Room Cottages offer secluded private pools paired with open showers that bring guests closer to nature. Meanwhile, the TwinLeaf Pool Cottage, one of the resort’s most sought-after room categories, combines two interconnected rooms with a private pool setup, making it ideal for families and larger groups.

What truly stands out about Stone Water is how thoughtfully every experience has been curated. With multiple room categories including river-view and fountain-view stays, the property caters to every kind of traveller without losing its sense of intimacy and warmth.

And then comes the food, easily one of the highlights of the stay.

At Banyan Brew Restaurant & Bar, dining becomes an experience in itself. Set beside a majestic old banyan tree, the restaurant serves dishes that feel fresh, comforting, and carefully crafted. Every plate we tried carried a noticeable freshness that elevated the meal beyond typical resort dining.

For those chasing tropical vacation energy, Riviera Pool Bar & Café is where the vibe shifts entirely. Overlooking tranquil waters with boho-Bali aesthetics, the space feels transportive, the kind of place where afternoons effortlessly turn into sunset evenings over cocktails, music, and conversations. The resort also houses Sage House Café & Bar, a relaxed corner designed for unwinding, catching up, or simply slowing down with coffee and comfort food.

What makes the property even more impressive is its scale without feeling overwhelming. Spread across the resort are 22 swimming pools and an astonishing 281 mango trees, giving the entire space a refreshing natural character. Beyond leisure stays, the resort is also emerging as a sought-after venue for destination weddings and corporate gatherings with banquet halls like Amara and Ivory alongside expansive lawns designed for celebrations of every scale.

But beyond the luxury and aesthetics, the true essence of Stone Water lies in its people.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Deepak Jenna, CGM at the resort, whose perspective on hospitality reflected the very spirit of the property. “Hospitality always comes from the heart. It’s not a skill someone simply acquires, it’s the devotion to serve people and make them happy. The satisfaction of seeing smiling faces is what has kept me in this industry for so long,” he shared. He further emphasized the importance of respect and human connection in hospitality, believing that positivity and negativity both travel through chain reactions.

We also interacted with Mr. Hitesh Ojha, Operations Manager at the resort, who said “We often say luxury is in the rooms and views, but real hospitality is built behind the scenes, in how every department comes together to create comfort without the guest ever noticing the effort. Operations is about making every experience feel seamless, natural, and personal. When guests leave feeling relaxed, cared for, and wanting to return, that’s when we know we’ve done our job right”

In a world where staycations are no longer just about luxury but about meaningful experiences, Stone Water by Zuper manages to strike the perfect balance between indulgence, nature, and emotional warmth. And perhaps that is exactly why it feels less like a resort and more like a destination you’ll keep wanting to return to.
