Popular digital creator Ashish Chanchlani has officially stepped into a new creative chapter with the trailer launch of his upcoming web series, EKAKI, marking his directorial debut. Blending spine-chilling moments with his signature humor, the project is touted as India’s first horror-comedy web series, and it’s already creating major buzz online.
After weeks of teasers and a mysterious poster reveal, the EKAKI trailer finally dropped, giving fans a glimpse into a dark yet hilarious adventure. Starring Ashish Chanchlani himself in the lead role, the show follows seven friends on a life-changing, mysterious trip a premise that promises equal parts laughs and scares.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Ashish wrote: “Here is the official trailer for you all. 7 friends, one life-changing mysterious trip. EKAKI, an original series streaming from 27th November on YouTube for free.” 
The series also features familiar faces from the Ashish Chanchlani Universe, including Akash Dodeja, Harsh Rane, Sidhant Sarfare, Rohit Sadhwani, Grishim Nawani, and Shashank Shekhar all well-known to fans for their comedic timing and on-screen chemistry.
For Chanchlani, EKAKI isn’t just a new creative experiment it’s also a long-awaited return to YouTube. With nearly 31 million subscribers, the content creator has released only a handful of videos in recent years, just four to five in the last three years. His last major release, Holi Returns, came out two years ago.
Now, with EKAKI premiering on YouTube from November 27, Ashish Chanchlani is all set to blend horror, humor, and heart in a way Indian audiences have rarely seen a perfect comeback for one of the country’s most loved digital entertainers.
