Allu Arjun added another feather to his cap as he clinched the Best Actor award at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 for his commanding performance in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. The prestigious event was held in Dubai, celebrating the finest talent from the South Indian film industry.
The actor was joined at the ceremony by director Sukumar and co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who also had reason to celebrate as she took home her fourth SIIMA trophy this year, further cementing her place as one of the industry’s top performers.
Allu Arjun expressed his heartfelt gratitude on Instagram, sharing a series of pictures holding the trophy. In his post, he wrote,
“Thank you SIIMA for the constant love & recognition. Winning 3 back-to-back SIIMA Awards is truly a humbling moment… This credit goes to my Director @aryasukku garu, my artists, technicians, producers, and the entire Pushpa crew.”
The actor made a strong style statement at the event, donning an all-black ensemble that reflected the bold aura of his Pushpa character. Meanwhile, Rashmika turned heads in a satin-finish rose gold saree, exuding elegance and grace.
‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, directed by Sukumar, released in 2024 as a sequel to the blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ (2021). The film was a major commercial success, featuring a power-packed cast including Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil, and Rao Ramesh. The plot explores the gritty world of red sandalwood smuggling, focusing on power struggles and territorial dominance.
This SIIMA recognition follows Allu Arjun’s earlier win at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, where he also received the Best Actor title for the same role solidifying his place as one of Indian cinema’s most versatile and bankable stars.
