Shehnaaz Gill’s much-anticipated Punjabi film Ikk Kudi has been officially postponed, with the new release date set for October 31, 2025. Originally slated to hit theatres on September 19, the film’s delay comes as a thoughtful gesture from the team in light of the current situation in Punjab.
Taking to her Instagram, Shehnaaz shared the news along with a fresh poster of the film. The statement read, “The entire team of Ikk Kudi has decided to postpone the release of the film to 31st October 2025 due to the unexpected and severe flood situation across several regions of Punjab. We feel it is our responsibility to stand with our people during these challenging times. The Ikk Kudi movie team is in touch with various NGOs and, with God’s grace, will do our best to support Punjab. WE STAND WITH PUNJAB.”
The film is written and directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and will see a worldwide release under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. It was first announced in November last year, with buzz building ever since photos from the first day of shoot were released.
