Aryan Khan is all set to make his directorial debut with the much-awaited Netflix series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which will premiere on September 18, 2025. The series, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment (headed by Gauri Khan), is co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, with music composed by Shashwat Sachdev.
The show has been generating buzz since its announcement, and Netflix finally dropped the official preview on Wednesday, accompanied by a post on X that read: “Bohot hard. Aur bohot heart bhi. Watch The Ba***ds of Bollywood, out 18 September, only on Netflix.”
The 2-minute-7-second preview opens with a powerful voiceover by Shah Rukh Khan, setting the tone for a gritty tale of ambition and stardom. Introducing Lakshya as Aasman Singh, the series follows the dark underbelly of Bollywood, where not all dreams come true—but some stars are born to shine regardless.
Joining Lakshya in lead is Sahher Bambba, who plays the daughter of a superstar portrayed by Bobby Deol. Their on-screen chemistry is at the heart of the emotional arc, as glimpsed in the teaser.
The ensemble cast also features Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor. Adding to the excitement, Salman Khan and Karan Johar make special cameo appearances.
With big names, bold storytelling, and a fresh directorial voice, The Ba***ds of Bollywood is shaping up to be one of Netflix India’s most anticipated original series of the year.
