This Independence Day, Mumbai’s top restaurants and hotels are bringing patriotism to the plate with tricolour-themed dishes and exclusive menus. From Indian-fusion innovations to elaborate buffets and festive desserts, these culinary experiences are crafted to reflect the vibrant diversity of Indian cuisine. Zaatar W Zeit

Zaatar W Zeit introduces its first-ever India-inspired menu just in time for Independence Day. Known for its fresh Lebanese fare, the brand now blends its signature style with Indian flavours. The “India Rolls” feature dishes like Shish Chicken Tikka Wrap, Butter Chicken Wrap, Shish Paneer Tikka, and the indulgent Zaatar Malai Chicken and Paneer Skillets. Available at the Bandra and newly opened Andheri outlets, the menu will be a permanent addition and is also available for delivery via Zomato and Swiggy.

The Orchid Hotel

Boulevard at The Orchid Hotel in Vile Parle (East) is offering an elaborate Independence Day buffet that reflects the colours of the Indian flag. Guests can enjoy a wide spread of regional and fusion delicacies in saffron, white, and green, along with handcrafted mithai and signature beverages. The buffet is available for both lunch and dinner on August 15, priced at ₹2099++ for lunch and ₹2299++ for dinner.

ITC Maratha

Peshwa Pavilion at ITC Maratha is hosting a special Independence Day lunch experience titled ‘A Celebration of Flavour, the Indian Way’. The menu highlights time-honoured Indian recipes and regional classics that celebrate India’s diverse culinary traditions. The lunch will be served on August 15 from 12 PM to 3 PM, priced at ₹3000 plus taxes per person.

BlueBop Café

BlueBop Café in Khar is marking India’s 79th year of independence with a one-day-only tricolour-themed menu on August 15. The menu features colourful and flavourful options such as Tri-Colour Pasta, Tri-Colour Pizza, Tri-Colour Brownie, and Tri-Colour Mocktail. Designed to reflect the saffron, white, and green of the Indian flag, each dish is made with premium ingredients and presented with a festive flair.

Red Box Café


Red Box Café in Juhu is serving up a festive Tri-Color Treat menu for a limited time, with each item priced at just ₹79. The menu includes creative dishes like Spinach Cottage Cheese Crepes, Avocado Mascarpone Tacos, Lemon Thyme Grilled Fish, and Zuppa Di Pomodoro. This offering is perfect for those seeking vibrant, flavourful food at a budget-friendly price.
