In a landmark collaboration that promises to redefine the boundaries of mainstream Indian cinema, Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Vinod Bhanushali’s Bhanushali Studios Limited have announced their first joint project: Tu Yaa Main. The upcoming film marks the beginning of a slate of genre-bending, high-concept stories from the two production powerhouses.
Directed by the ever-experimental Bejoy Nambiar, Tu Yaa Main stars rising talents Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav in a bold cinematic experiment that blends romance, suspense, and survival. Touted as a “date-fright” film, it begins with a classic meet-cute before spiraling into an intense, emotionally charged survival thriller set against a backdrop of nature’s unpredictability and a pulsating music-driven atmosphere.
“This is a film that refuses to be boxed into a single genre,” says Rai. “It’s emotional, it’s edgy, and it’s unpredictable—everything we love about storytelling pushed into new territory. And teaming up with Bhanushali Studios for this journey is the perfect way to launch a collaboration built on bold, meaningful cinema.” 
The film, scheduled for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release, is already generating buzz for its unique tone, innovative music score featuring rappers and beat drops, and a narrative that promises more than just thrills. Producers Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali, and Kamlesh Bhanushali are bringing together the gritty, stylish storytelling of Nambiar with the emotionally grounded sensibilities Rai and Sharma are known for.
