According to a confirmation from the popular anonymous fashion account Diet Sabya, the superstar will walk the iconic red carpet this May, dressed in an ensemble by celebrated designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.
This appearance will mark a major first — Shah Rukh Khan will be the first Indian male actor to attend the prestigious event, adding yet another feather to his illustrious cap. 
The buzz began when Diet Sabya teased fans earlier this month with a cryptic post, hinting at a collaboration between two giants — and it was later confirmed: “As per our sources obviously.” The excitement only grew when Diet Sabya posted again, stating, “National headlines. We at DietSabya can confirm: Yes, that is indeed SRK—India’s undisputed generational superstar—making his Met Gala debut in May 2025, wearing Sabyasachi (India’s biggest luxury brand). Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani liked the post — a subtle but powerful nod confirming the news that sent fans into a frenzy across social media.
While the final look remains tightly under wraps, reports strongly suggest that SRK, 59, will don a custom creation by Sabyasachi. This collaboration is expected to be a proud showcase of Indian craftsmanship on one of the world’s most glamorous platforms.
The official dress code, “Tailored To You,” hints at a night of deeply personal and custom expressions of style — a perfect canvas for SRK and Sabyasachi to create magic.
