Organisers Promise Refunds and New Dates…
In the aftermath of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that claimed at least 26 lives and left several injured, comedian Kevin Hart’s highly anticipated Delhi show has been cancelled.
According to the information, the event was scheduled for April 30 at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, the event was part of Hart’s ‘Acting My Age’ world tour and marked his only performance in India.
The announcement was made on April 27 by District by Zomato, the event’s ticketing partner, which cited the recent events as the reason behind the cancellation. In an official statement, they confirmed that all ticket holders would receive full refunds automatically to their original mode of payment.
As per the statement given by the organisers, “In light of the recent tragic events, we, along with Kevin Hart’s team, have decided to cancel the upcoming Delhi show scheduled for April 30th,”They also assured fans that discussions are underway to reschedule Hart’s visit to India. “We are working closely with Kevin Hart’s team on a new schedule and will share updates soon,” the statement added.
The decision, though disappointing for fans, has been widely supported, with the organisers emphasizing the importance of standing in solidarity with those affected by the violence.
Kevin Hart’s show isn’t the only major event impacted by the situation. Across India, several concerts and events have either been cancelled or postponed. Notably, singer Arijit Singh’s Chennai concert was recently called off, and composer Anirudh Ravichander has temporarily paused ticket sales for his upcoming June concert following the terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
