Katy Perry turned heads at the 11th Breakthrough Prize ceremony in Los Angeles, making a futuristic fashion statement in a stunning silver-blue gown by ace designer Gaurav Gupta. Known as the “Oscars of Science,” the prestigious event saw Perry donning a piece from Gupta’s Aarohanam collection, first showcased at Paris Couture Week SS’24.
The mesmerizing gown, adorned with hand-embroidered glass beadwork, featured a column silhouette inspired by the fluid movements of a reptile. The intricate design, with its shimmering texture and delicate sheer panels, created a hypnotic visual effect as Katy confidently graced the red carpet. This momentous appearance comes just ahead of Katy Perry’s upcoming adventure as part of an all-female spaceflight. 
On April 14, 2025, Perry will join Lauren Sanchez and Gayle King on a historic mission, marking the first all-women spaceflight since 1963.
