Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi are set to star in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming romantic comedy, “Bhool Chuk Maaf.” The makers recently announced a new release date for the film, accompanied by a poster featuring the lead actors. The film will now hit theaters on May 9, 2025, instead of the previously planned April 10.
The official caption for the poster read, “Apni haldi mein hi atak gaye Ranjan aur Titli! Kya unki shaadi ka din aayega kabhi? Pata chalega 9th May ko. Bhool Chuk Maaf sabhi cinema-gharon mein!” The vibrant yellow theme of the poster reflects the traditional Haldi ceremony, setting a lively and festive tone for the film.
The film is Directed and written by Karan Sharma, “Bhool Chuk Maaf” marks the first collaboration between Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. Set in the lively city of Varanasi, the film tells the story of Ranjan, a passionate romantic who secures a government job in hopes of winning his love, Titli. However, just before their wedding, unexpected events disrupt his plans, leading to a comedic adventure about love, destiny, and the surprises life offers. 
The teaser for the film previously dropped, showing the couple preparing for their wedding. The clip showed Rajkummar and Wamiqa discussing wedding dates with their families, followed by a joyous haldi ceremony. However, the next day, Rajkummar wakes up to find it’s still the day of the haldi ceremony, setting the stage for the film’s comedic plot.
Fans eagerly await the release of “Bhool Chuk Maaf” on May 9, 2025, as it promises a perfect blend of romance and humor.
