Building on the success of its fragrance collection and its rich heritage in travel accessories, including makeup and toiletry cases, the luxury brand is poised to bring its signature elegance to cosmetics. The new line promises to offer a curated selection of high-end beauty products, marking a significant expansion of Louis Vuitton’s iconic luxury empire.
The excitement around this new venture is amplified by the appointment of Pat McGrath, one of the most influential makeup artists in the world, as the Creative Director of Cosmetics. McGrath, renowned for her iconic work backstage at fashion shows, is a fitting choice for the role, having built her own highly successful beauty brand, Pat McGrath Labs. Her expertise and innovation in the beauty industry have earned her national recognition, including an Order of the British Empire honor in 2014 and a “Damehood” in 2021, making her the only makeup artist to receive such an accolade. Her decades of experience in fashion and beauty promise a unique and high-quality direction for La Beauté Louis Vuitton.
McGrath expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton. As per the information, The launch of the beauty line is set to happen in Autumn/Winter 2025.
